An OOTD Moment – Anchors on the River

Hi everyone!

Outfit Details: Top (Similar) / Skirt (Similar – On Sale!) / Flats (Similar – exact ones are still in stores though!) / Bracelets (Similar) / Earrings (Similar)

Does everyone like the background change? 😉 I had to be on campus earlier this week for a meeting, and I figured while I was there I would take advantage of a little variation in the scenery to shoot some outfit posts.

Let me just say that shooting blog posts in public is pretty awkward, especially because I’m used to doing them near my house where no one else can bother me. Major props to all of the street bloggers out there because I don’t know how you do it all of the time with everyone staring at you.

This outfit is an old one from my closet, but it’s one of my favorites. I’ve gotten so much use out of this simple white blouse from H&M, it’s crazy. I always tend to keep away from white clothing because it just gets dirty and dingy looking so quickly, but I’m thrilled I decided to grab this when I had the chance.

This anchor skirt I bought forever ago at J Crew (probably four years ago, at least). I’m a shameless sucker for anything nautical, and I get so excited when I have the chance to bust it out during the summer. Plus, I thought the skirt worked well with the water behind me (which is about as close as I’ll get all season).

I finished the look off with some red lips (my favorite red lipstick EVER), nude flats, and some fringe bangle bracelets that were free from a Lilly Pulitzer GWP at the end of May.

Here’s another song that I’m totally obsessed with at the moment. I cycle through music like it’s water, haha.

What’s your favorite summer outfit?

Thanks for reading!
