Too Faced recently re-launched their Sweet Peach eyeshadow palette (along with an entire collection of other peach-themed products), and I’ve been dying to get my hands on it. I grabbed it from Sephora the other day, and I put together a review of what I think about it.
The palette itself is $50, and it is gorgeous. I love the color gradient design and the little peaches embossed on the palette. It’s a metal tin with a magnetic closure. I find that palettes like this (which is what Too Faced mostly does with theirs) are good for traveling. When you open the palette, there’s another color gradient design, a sizable mirror, and 18 different eyeshadows. They range from peach shades (go figure) to neutrals to a few pops of color with purples and greens. Oh, and the entire thing smells like peaches. It’s heavenly.
Overall, I think the shades in this palette go very well together. There’s a great mix of mattes and shimmers, and they all perform fairly well. My favorites from this palette that I think swatch the best, wear the best, and have the best texture/application are Luscious (shimmery champagne), Bless Her Heart (shimmery sage green), Cobbler (shimmery tan), Bellini (shimmery peach), Puree (matte brown), and Talk Derby to Me (matte black with purple sparkles suspended throughout).
There were a few shades that disappointed me, but they’re definitely not bad. You just have to work with them a little more to get rich pigmentation. They also take a little more time to blend. These shades are Just Peachy (shimmery peachy-pink) and Delectable (matte purple).
Overall, I think this is a great palette. I’m really happy I decided to purchase this, and if you’re a fan of Too Faced’s other palettes, you’ll really like this one too. This will be especially fun for spring and summer, I think, and you can create a variety of looks from just this one palette.
